I replaced the window regulator on my car. It was a separate problem that conglomerated with the hood and fender after the accident. It has been raining a lot so I haven't had time to paint my car. I did fix the window, so now it rolls up and down nicely. I took the tape off that had been holding the window in place.
Scott helped me work on my car as well. We bent some things back into place using tie-down straps and their basketball hoop. It worked out pretty well. I also helped them clean up some of the cotton from the cottonwood trees they have in their yard. Their kids are sure growing up fast!
My nieces and nephews are growing fast too! I just heard from Linda Lee that Anna is spouting off with full sentences and an "evil laugh" and Hyrum is running around like a chunky little man.
This week I went on a hike up Dry Canyon outside of Lindon. I guess we actually ended up on a small knoll close to the top of "Mt" Baldy. (I don't think it looks like much of a mountain next to Timp, but it was a fun climb. We then ran down the hill (she had to be to work) and my thighs are...tired... today.
Also as you can see from the pictures I got my braces off! It is different. I think the retainers I have are almost worse than the braces because I feel like I can't close my mouth all the way, oh wait, I can't!

I also just finished reading a book. "Black Like Me" by John Howard Griffith. He is a white writer who decides to dye his skin black and go down to the southern states to see how black people are treated. He does this at the end of the 1950's before Martin Luther King Jr and most of the civil rights movement. It was really interesting. (As a side warning, it has some language. If you want to borrow my copy, I would black out the words.)

Loved the post! Except I thought you were going to write more details about who your date was or I would have asked you about her more on the phone. Also Anna's evil laugh came about because she read a book or two with a character that laughs like that. Now she does it when she sees other characters.
