We had a wonderful weekend during General Conference weekend staying at the Tillerys while Chrystal and Luke were enjoying their trip to Vermont and Boston and such.
We got there Friday night and left Sunday evening. Dad and James helped Cody with his calves. They also went fishing, McKay too, after the Saturday afternoon session.
We made up a game for focusing attention on conference. They would choose a word or a couple of words and make tally marks every time they heard that word. After so many tally marks they would get a treat. Saturday morning the treat was some Schwan ice cream nuggets - chocolate covered ice cream squares - very yummy! Then Ruby, Zayne and I went to Wal-mart and got a few other treats for the next sessions. They all listened very well.
John came to go to the priesthood session with Dad and the boys. Heather and Esther came too and I enjoyed visiting with them, although I was a little distracted by some school assignments.
Sunday we had dinner at Colin and Jean's. We were a little late arriving. We told Colin we were out of practice with getting a bunch of kids ready to go somewhere. John, Heather and Esther were also at Colin's.
