March comes in like a Lamb, what else?

Thinking of the Seven Brides scene where they feel like spring will never come.  I can totally relate.
Our March came in like a lamb - does that mean it will leave like a lion?

A couple of weeks ago we had some nice crust and I enjoyed walking anywhere I wanted.  I could almost imagine it was sand on a shore as I looked at it sparkling.

I've been going on a walk, 2 or 3 miles a day, with Buddy.  I've only missed a couple of days when it was raining or the weather was too severe. (wind, blizzard conditions).  I dress up and breathe in the fresh air.

Buddy stands on the crust easily, but for about a week or so it was crusty enough for me too.

Can I imagine sand and shore?

My footprints, barely sinking in the crust.

This shot was meant to show how deep the snow is, up to the middle of  the wheel on this wheel line.

One Saturday we went snowmobiling.  Bart was generous enough to let us use a couple of his.  I drove Grandpa's and Dad and James the two from Bart.  It was such a nice afternoon.  Still fairly crusty conditions and we drove all over the fields.  Dad blazed the trails and James followed me:  looking out for me when I had to go down a steep edge or cross a road or something.  I only tipped over once!  I liked being able to drive myself.  I told Dad that getting me a snowmobile will help me to be more content in winter.

Last Saturday I tried cross country skiing.  Thick powder conditions were not conducive to skiing the fields, but I did ski along the road.  I'll have to practice some more and maybe get boots and skis that actually fit me.

For your viewing enjoyment -

If only our spring will come this quickly - maybe?
