1975, 2001, 2016 and 2021

Esther is the third graduate of our family from Star Valley High School.
A couple of days before graduation there was an honor's society awards evening where she was given these colors to wear with her gown, pictured with Sydney Inskeep and Brittany Merritt.
They received giant "smarties".  This same evening the scholarship awards were presented.  Esther received two half tuition scholarships from BYU-Idaho and a Grey's River Ranger District scholarship for $700.  Woo hoo!

Before the high school graduation was Seminary Graduation.
Here's Esther with all of the Bedford Ward girls who also graduated.

And the rest of the Bedford seniors.
Esther sang in a group that night, an arrangement of "We'll Bring the World His Truth" and "As Sisters in Zion".
Jared was there that night and James too, along with John, and Heather, who came from Rexburg with Chrystal and kids.  Chrystal also came to the graduation, but left her kids at our house so hurried back to be home. By the time we got around to taking pictures, most of the family had already left.  But we did get the following:

That same weekend was Memorial Day weekend.  We enjoyed having Jared, John, Heather and Chrystal and kids around.  John posted some photos of that weekend, but here's one I wanted to add.  Ruby on her cell phone.  She was punching the kernels and holding it up to her ear - so imaginative that I had to ask her to pose for me with the cob phone!

The day after Memorial Day was graduation, May 26, a Tuesday evening, so all the Rexburg folk had to get back to school and such.  But Linda Lee and kids did come through on her way back to Casper,
Dad enjoying Emmett, even with a spit-uppy drool!

Anna came to the graduation and hung in there like a trooper.  Unfortunately I don't have any photos of the other kids who stayed at Great Grandma's that night.

I tried to get a shot of Esther receiving her diploma.  We were towards the back, and I don't know why the auditorium had to be dark.

This  was the only shot I got of Esther with her NHS collar.  As soon as she walked out the doorway, she had to return it.  So all of the photos in the commons area are without the collar.

Linda Lee curled Esther's hair - thanks Linda Lee!
Amori brought Esther a bouquet to say "congrats!"
Sidney again
Brittany again
Bradley Townsend who is now on a mission to Honduras - he's been Sidney's main guy.
Caitlyn Turner
Bishop Challis who was her Seminary teacher

We're thankful for the education Esther has received, for the excellent and hard working student she has always been.  We know she will be blessed as a student at BYU-Idaho.
