Shorter the better

BYU animation is well known and respected. When I was at BYU taking math classes, I always noticed a large 8 foot statue of Po from Kung Fu Panda. At first I wondered why it was there, but come to find out, a BYU graduate designed the original Po and the math building is connected to the department where you can go into computer animation. There have been many BYU graduates who have worked on big films including some for Pixar. While at BYU students often make fantastic short films.

Recently BYU animation released all the animated short films that they have done. Eliza and I have had a great time watching them. You can watch them at https://animation.byu.edu/. Just click on "See Our Short Films".

  1. We watched a few of the BYU shorts. So fun! I liked the "Owned" best, but "Estefan" was also very creative. Thanks for helping us be aware.

  2. That's cool to know! I liked pajama gladiator. The little boy reminded me if Rhett. He always had his blankie. And at the end when he says, "I'll be in my room," that reminded me of Scott. :)
